“Languages of Offence in Digital Perspectives”

We are pleased to announce that the C&C2023 conference will host a workshop organized by Barbara Lewandowska-Tomaszczyk and Marcin Trojszczak from  University of Applied Sciences in Konin.

The workshop focuses on various facets of offensive language found on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other social media including its explicit (e.g., slurs, direct insults, swear words) and implicit instances (e.g., irony, metaphors, hyperbole) analysed from linguistic, pragmatic, and computational perspectives.

Workshop abstracts should be submitted at the conference email address cc@konin.edu.pl, indicating  the title of the workshop.
